SENZ 2018 - Saturday 9.30am – 2pm (with lunch break in middle) - Prima Mini album

Trina is excited to share her new Prima mini album class with you! In it you will create a neutrally themed (think blacks/browns and oranges) mini album ‘from scratch’, crafting each page from paper and chipboard, then embellishing them with sweet decorations, opening pages and pockets and spaces for photos before bringing it together to form a brand-new album ready to fill with your latest memories.

Trina will teach you how to use magnets to get the most from your opening pockets and pages (so much fun!) as well as changing the look of embellishments using clever and simple techniques.

In class you’ll use liquid pearls, beads, crystals and string to help accentuate the beauty of the album and learn to ‘fill those gaps’ Trina often talks about in class. We’ll also be using Liquid Pearls in two ways!

This class runs over two time slots with a break for lunch in the middle and has a very generous amount of product to help create the perfect album to keep for yourself or giveaway to someone extra special. When finished, you’ll leave with a bunch of new techniques which can be used on future albums, scrapbook pages or cards.

Skill level:
This class is aimed at anyone who is willing to give things a go. We’ll move quite quickly as there is a lot to accomplish with 6 double pages and the covers. It would be good if you know how to use a trimmer as we’ll be doing a fair bit of cutting.

Techniques you’ll learn in class:
Creating an album, creating pockets, creating opening pages, using magnets, changing base embellishments, clustering, using beads of various sizes and more.

Supplies you’ll need to bring to class:
Standard tool kit (see FAQ’s for what Trina says this is)
Black inkpad (that is suitable for chipboard pigment based is good)
Gold inkpad (for use on paper)
Craft knife/mat
Double sided tape
Foam tape
Liquid glue that dries clear such as glossy accents
1 ½” circle punch (if you have one), Trina will have some to share
Score tool (if you have one), Trina will have some to share

Depending on how class sales go there may be spare kits available for purchase on the TMD stand after the class has been completed. Alternatively there will also be other brand new kits that can be purchased directly from the TMD stand at SENZ.
